Position Info:

·         Position: Senior Automotive Service Technician

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $48.32/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 10780 Cambie Rd, Richmond, BC V6X 1K8

Job Duties:

·         Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults through targeted system testing and inspection

·         Review work orders and collaborate with the Parts Department to source needed components

·         Conduct road tests to isolate performance issues and verify successful repairs

·         Repair, adjust, or replace malfunctioning parts across all automotive systems

·         Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure compliance with factory standards

·         Perform scheduled maintenance and evaluate vehicles for additional safety or service needs

·         Explain diagnoses and recommended future repairs clearly to customers

·         Complete detailed service reports tracking problems, parts used, and work performed

·         Coach and instruct apprentice technicians on technical skills and shop safety

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Automotive Service Technician trades certificate or diploma in Automotive Service Technology is required

·         Experience: 5 or more years of experience in automotive service is required
