Overview

A busy professional family in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures is looking for a caregiver for three children. The caregiver will also be responsible for housekeeping and other domestic tasks such as cooking.

Permanent and full-time employment. 40 hours per week, 5 days per week. The work schedule is from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, divided into two shifts: the first shift from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM and the second shift from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. An unpaid break is scheduled from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The caregiver will work a total of 8 hours per day. If the schedule changes, one week’s notice will be given.

Salary: $19.00/hour.

Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s schedule, so flexibility is essential. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may be required to take care of the house and the children in the absence of the parents.

Languages: French or English.

Educational level required:
General high school diploma – completed.

Experience related to employment:
1 to 2 years of experience with children or equivalent experience, such as midwifery, nursing, or similar studies.

Other conditions:
Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with children.
