Overview

–          Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods

–          Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers

–          Oversee kitchen operations

–          Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

–          Determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

–          Ensure food is prepared fresh and of the highest quality

–          Strictly adhere to safe and hygienic food handling practices

–          Clean kitchen and work area

 

Requirements:

–          Secondary School education

–          At least 2 years in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience in commercial setting

–          Be able to work under minimum supervision and in a fast-paced environment

Permanent Full-time Job

Salary: $19.00/hour, Work: 35 hours/week
