Overview
Job title- In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment- This job is for a full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start date is December 1, 2026
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is $17 to 21 per hour.
Location- MiKap lives in the city of Hampstead, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by (bus # 66). The major intersection is Cote St-Luc Rd / Heath.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a child suffering from a chronic medical issue
2- Supervision of child when parents are not at home
3- Plan, prepare and serve meals for children. Kitchen clean-up is also required,
4- General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing of school uniforms.
5- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education.
2- Must have at least one year of work related experience as a caregiver or equivalent training
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
