POSITION OVERVIEW
Whistler Wired Vacations is a professional property management company operating a portfolio of premium vacation rental properties in Whistler, British Columbia. We are seeking experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
This role is critical to our operations. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation across our managed properties, ensuring that every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming environment. Whistler is a world-class resort destination and our standards must reflect that.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare vacation rental properties to a professional resort standard between guest check-outs and check-ins
• Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces
• Change and launder linens, towels, and other textile items; restock guest amenities and supplies
• Report maintenance issues, property damage, and missing items accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage time effectively to complete property turnovers within tight same-day deadlines
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies; monitor and report inventory requirements
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including WHMIS procedures for cleaning products
• Communicate professionally with supervisors and the operations team regarding property status and issues
• Assist with deep cleaning, seasonal property preparations, and special cleaning projects as required
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following are the minimum requirements for this position. Applications that do not meet these qualifications cannot be considered.
• Required: Demonstrated ability to maintain high cleanliness standards consistently and efficiently under time pressure
• Required: Physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks including lifting up to 20 lbs, prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
• Required: Full-time availability (37.50 – 45 hours per week), including weekends and statutory holidays
• Required: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time within same-day turnaround schedules
• Required: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (ASSET)
• Professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, bed & breakfast, or short-term vacation rental context
