Job Description:
Position: Home Child Care Provider
Employer: Myeonghwa Lee and Deokhoon Kim
Working Address: 576 Gatensbury Street, Coquitlam, BC V3J 5G3
Employment Term: Full-time, Permanent
Hours of Work: 30–40 hours per week
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Vacation: 2 weeks of annual vacation and 4% vacation pay
Vacancy: 1

Job Duties:

Take full responsibility for the household when parents are away
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Bathe, dress and feed the children
Instruct the children in personal hygiene and social development
Maintain records of daily activities and health information for the children
Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Supervise and care for the children
Organize activities appropriate for the children’s age and development
Take the children to and from school, appointments and activities as required
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience: Related child care experience and first aid certification are assets, but not mandatory.
Language: English
