Permanent, Full time

30-40 hours per week

Rate:$24.50 per hour

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Free room and board

Employer pays for relocation cost

Language:  Ability to read, speak and write in English in an unsupervised setting

Education: High school certificate

Experience: minimum of 7 months’  paid caregiving experience in a home setting

Reliability, honesty, flexibility, dependability, good judgment, and commitment to a full-time job are required

This is a No Smoking environment

Criminal Record Check ad references are required

Duties:

All aspects of care for a person with disability:

Mobility, bedside and personal care;
Assist the client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in oral medication, regular exercise; assist the client in water (pool)
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Provide companionship
Shop for food and household supplies, as required
Cook, prepare and serve nutritious meals

Care for pets

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
