Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $38.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Job Duties:

·         Develop and manage the restaurant’s operating budget by reviewing food, beverage, supply, labour, and overhead costs to maintain profitability

·         Analyze sales, revenue, and cost reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase overall business performance

·         Establish and update restaurant operating procedures, service standards, and internal policies to ensure consistent and efficient operations

·         Determine menu pricing, service offerings, and promotional strategies in consultation with ownership, based on customer demand and operating costs

·         Recruit, select, and onboard new staff to meet the restaurant’s operational needs and long-term staffing requirements

·         Monitor overall staff performance and conduct performance reviews to maintain productivity, service quality, and workplace standards

·         Negotiate with suppliers for food, beverage, packaging, and other restaurant supplies to secure reliable service, competitive pricing, and appropriate inventory levels

·         Participate in marketing plans and local business development initiatives to increase customer traffic, promote the restaurant, and support revenue growth

Job requirements:

·         Experience: Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
