Overview

A busy professional family in Ottawa is looking for a caregiver for an elderly person who requires daily assistance, companionship, supervision, and support with routine activities. The caregiver will also perform light housekeeping and domestic tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and keeping the living area safe and organized. Permanent and full-time employment. 40 hours, 5 days per week. Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Salary: 19.27$/h. Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday, but this may vary depending on the employer’s needs, so flexibility is essential. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost. The caregiver may have to assist the elderly person in the absence of family members. Languages: French or English.

Educational level required: General High school diploma – Completed.
Experience related to employment: 1-2 years of experience with elderly persons or equivalence, such as nursing, personal support work, caregiving, or similar studies.
Other conditions: Punctuality, reliability, patience, judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and experience with elderly care.
