Position Info:

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $37.00/hour

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 1

Job Duties:

· Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the Japanese restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service

· Review sales, expenses, food costs, and labour costs to help maintain profitability and control the restaurant’s operating budget

· Establish and implement restaurant policies, service standards, and operational procedures for dine-in, take-out, and delivery services

· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen support staff, and front-of-house employees

· Prepare staff work schedules and coordinate staffing levels based on business volume, reservations, and operational needs

· Monitor staff performance and provide guidance to improve productivity, customer service, and workplace efficiency

· Oversee inventory levels for food, beverages, packaging, cleaning supplies, and other restaurant materials

· Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate purchasing arrangements to ensure timely supply and cost-effective pricing

· Review menu pricing, product costs, and service offerings in consideration of food costs, customer demand, and business profitability

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, food handling, and workplace standards

· Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and take appropriate steps to maintain customer satisfaction

· Participate in local marketing, promotions, and business development initiatives to attract customers and increase restaurant sales

Job requirements:

· Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food service industry is required

· Education: Completion of secondary school is required

· Language: English
