Overview

In family home, provide personal care to young physically disabled person including dressing, hygiene, transfers, repositioning, range of motion stretches, breathing exercises, help for meals and light housekeeping.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 7 months of experience as personal care worker OR the equivalent education in a personal support worker program or health care aid program. Training will also be provided.
-High-school diploma
-First Aid and CPR certification
-Physically fit to perform the work
-Non-smoker
-Up-to-date vaccination
-Recent criminal record check for vulnerable sector will be needed

Full time position paid at $735 to $787.50 for 5 days per week, plus 4% vacation pay.
Work location: About 40 minutes east of Ottawa
2-year contract starting January 2, 2027
