Wages: $ 20.00 per hour
40 hours per week; 2 days off
Language: ability to speak, read and write in English in an unsupervised setting
Education: minimum secondary school certificate
Experience: minimum 7 months’ paid experience in childcare in a home setting
Optional accommodation is available at no charge to a live-in caregiver.: NOTE: This is not a condition of employment.
Duties:
All aspects of care for a 7-year-old: bathing, dressing, feeding, supervising after-school activities, outings; Preparing child for school; Taking child to and from school; Packing snacks and lunch; Preparing and cooking meals; Keeping a safe and clean environment; Guiding child on hygiene and proper grooming; tending to the emotional well-being of the child; light housekeeping duties.
