Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $21.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 766 Goldstream Avenue, Langford, BC V9B 2X3

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Develop efficient work procedures to ensure daily service schedules are met

·         Supervise and coordinate employees involved in preparing, portioning and serving sushi and other menu items

·         Order food ingredients, packaging materials and other kitchen supplies as required

·         Train staff on job responsibilities, food safety, sanitation and workplace procedures

·         Determine the quantities of ingredients and supplies needed for daily meal preparation

·         Monitor food presentation, portion sizes and customer service to maintain established quality standards

·         Respond to customer concerns and resolve service-related issues professionally

·         Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, equipment repairs and food wastage

·         Prepare and organize staff work schedules based on operational requirements

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service is required
