Position Info:

·         Position: Home Support Worker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Provide personalized individual care and attentive bedside assistance based on daily living needs

·         Assist patients with timely medication intake following pre-arranged schedules

·         Accompany and assist patients with daily walks and light physical activities

·         Assist patients with bathing, grooming, and overall personal hygiene routines

·         Prepare, serve, and assist with nutritious meals according to patient dietary preferences and pace

·         Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundering clothing and linens, to maintain a clean, safe environment

·         Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support to promote overall patient well-being

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
