Overview
Your duties will include:
- Prepare and irrigate growing medium for crops
- Plant, fertilize, thin and harvest crops
- Pick row and orchard crops
- Sort, weigh and pack the tomatoes
- Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies, greenhouse produce and products for transport
- Clean up racks, trays, and harvest bins and general clean-up of growing, producing and packing areas
- Assist with general greenhouse maintenance and maintenance of equipment and tools.
To succeed, the following is required:
- Tomato Greenhouse experience (Minimum of two years).
- English language.
- Ability to continuously adapt to change, learn, follow directions and accept feedback.
Positive teamwork and collaboration skills. - Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
Wage: $16.12 per hour
Hours: Ranging from 40 to 52 hours per week
