Job Duties:
🏨 Oversee day-to-day lodge operations to ensure smooth service in a busy, high-occupancy environment.
🤝 Coordinate front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest service teams to maintain consistent service standards.
📊 Monitor occupancy, staffing, and guest flow, making adjustments quickly to support full-capacity periods.
✅ Handle guest concerns, service recovery, and escalated issues promptly and professionally.
🧹 Review housekeeping and room readiness to ensure guest accommodations are prepared on time.
🔧 Work with maintenance staff to prioritize repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility readiness.
💰 Manage daily operational reporting, basic budgets, and expense control measures.
🚦 Support workplace safety, emergency procedures, and compliance with lodge policies and applicable regulations.
📋 Hire, train, schedule, and coach staff to maintain reliable coverage during peak demand.
🤝Other duties as required to support the team.

Job Requirements:
🎓 Post-secondary education in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred or 1-2 years of experience in hotel, lodge, or accommodation management is required.
🤝 Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams in a fast-paced environment.
💻 Working knowledge of front office systems, scheduling, and basic reporting tools.
👀 Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain standards at full capacity.
🚗 Reliable transportation is required due to the lodge’s location about 50 minutes from Thompson.
🗣️ Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills are essential.
💪 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
