Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00-$25.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Direct staff workflows on the floor to ensure consistent food preparation and service

·         Restock inventory and kitchen supplies to maintain necessary stock levels during shifts

·         Demonstrate technical duties, safety, and sanitation standards to new employees

·         Estimate ingredient needs based on daily demand and place routine supply orders

·         Monitor staffing levels during shifts and flag gaps to the assistant manager

·         Check food presentation and service quality on the line for consistency

·         Log daily sales, waste, and inventory figures for reporting purposes

·         Resolve routine guest complaints on the floor and escalate unresolved issues upward

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, is required
