Work hours: 30 hours per week

Wage: $22.50 per hour

Job Description:

• Supervise and care for two school-aged children in the employer’s residence.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Take the children to and from school and appointments as required.
• Organize and participate in age-appropriate activities, such as games, reading, outdoor activities and outings.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Tend to the children’s emotional well-being and provide appropriate supervision and support.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Keep records of the children’s daily activities and health information and communicate relevant information to the parents.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Wash, iron and organize clothing and household linens as required.
• Shop for food and household supplies as required.
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of the parents.
