Position Info:

·         Position: Beauty Shop Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $38.50-$40.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 7150 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5E 1E8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Oversee daily salon operations, including opening and closing procedures, appointments, and walk-in clients

·         Schedule nail technicians and front desk staff to match expected appointment volume

·         Monitor the quality of manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancement services

·         Resolve client complaints about service quality, wait times, or pricing

·         Recruit and onboard nail technicians and front desk staff, and review their performance

·         Order polish, gel, acrylic products, and disposable supplies, and maintain adequate stock levels

·         Enforce sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools, pedicure stations, and work areas

·         Set salon policies on appointment booking, cancellations, and staff conduct

·         Track salon expenses and service pricing to keep spending within budget

·         Review daily sales and appointment records to identify ways to improve efficiency

Job Requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
