Position Info:

· Position: Restaurant Manager

· Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $38.50/hour

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 2

· Work Location: 329 North Road Unit 250, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3V8

Benefits:

· 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

· Prepare and review operating budgets, including food, ingredient, beverage, kitchen supply and cleaning supply costs, and identify opportunities to control expenses and improve profitability

· Monitor restaurant sales, operating expenses and staffing costs to ensure labour and other expenditures remain within established budget targets

· Oversee and assess daily restaurant operations to maintain efficient service and consistent operational standards

· Plan and coordinate day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house activities to ensure smooth restaurant operations

· Prepare employee work schedules and adjust staffing levels according to business volume and operational requirements

· Recruit, train and supervise restaurant staff and provide ongoing guidance regarding service procedures and workplace expectations

· Monitor employee performance and provide feedback or corrective direction where required

· Establish and implement service procedures and operational practices appropriate for the restaurant’s dining and Korean BBQ service environment

· Review menu item and service costs and assist in maintaining appropriate pricing based on food costs and overall operating budgets

· Manage inventory levels for food, beverages and restaurant supplies and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or unnecessary waste

· Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding food ingredients, restaurant supplies, pricing and delivery arrangements

· Ensure employees follow applicable food safety, occupational health and safety, sanitation and workplace procedures

· Respond to customer concerns and resolve service-related issues in a professional and timely manner

Job Requirements:

· Language: English

· Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required

· Education: Completion of secondary school is required
