Position Info:

· Position: Food Services Manager

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $38.50/hour

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 1

· Work Location: 20436 Fraser Hwy Unit 104, Langley, BC V3A 4G2

Benefits:

· 6% vacation pay

Job Duties:

· Review operating budgets and financial results to control expenses and support the profitability of the café

· Assess daily food and beverage operations and make improvements to maintain efficient and consistent service

· Monitor sales and staffing expenses to ensure labour costs remain within operational targets

· Plan, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the café and food service area

· Prepare employee work schedules based on business volume and operational requirements

· Recruit, train, supervise, and support food service employees to maintain service and performance standards

· Monitor employee performance and provide direction or corrective guidance when required

· Oversee inventory levels for food, beverages, ingredients, and operating supplies and arrange replenishment as needed

· Ensure food handling, workplace safety, sanitation, and other applicable health and safety requirements are consistently followed

· Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers regarding food ingredients, beverages, and other operating supplies

· Respond to customer concerns and resolve service issues in a professional and timely manner

· Review food preparation procedures, product costs, and menu pricing to maintain quality while meeting established budget targets

Job requirements:

· Education: Completion of secondary school is required

· Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the food service industry is required

· Language: English
