Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $22.00-$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 694 Memorial Ave, Qualicum Beach, BC V9K 1S7

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Supervise kitchen and dining room staff during daily service

·         Create staff schedules and adjust shift coverage to match customer demand

·         Check dishes for freshness, presentation, and portion consistency against the restaurant’s Korean and Japanese menu standards

·         Instruct staff on menu items, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures

·         Apply knowledge of Korean and Japanese cooking styles when guiding food preparation and menu service

·         Resolve customer complaints and concerns

·         Order food, seafood, and kitchen supplies as stock runs low

·         Calculate ingredient and supply quantities needed for meal preparation

·         Track stock levels, repairs, sales, and wastage in written records

·         Develop budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of food service experience required, and supervisory experience is an asset
