Papa John’s Burnside Rd W is looking for an experienced and reliable Full-Time Pizza Cook to join our team.

We are looking for someone with previous pizza, restaurant, kitchen experience who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and comfortable preparing pizzas while maintaining Papa John’s quality and food-safety standards.

Job Location: 306 Burnside Rd W, Victoria, BC V8Z 1M1

Hourly Wage: $ 21.18/hr.

Responsibilities:

Prepare pizzas according to Papa John’s recipes and standards
Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients
Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely
Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time
Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with food preparation, dishes, and general kitchen cleaning
Help with takeout orders and customer service when required
Work effectively with other team members during busy periods
Complete opening, closing, and other assigned duties as required
Looking after kitchen operations and managing the stock of ingredients.
To coordinate with the operation manager(s) on new ideas and suggestions for menu.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education or years of relevant experience in culinary is an asset.
Secondary School Completion is a must.
1-2 years of experience in cooking and pizza preparation is a must.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with extended periods of standing.
Strong reference is a must.
No previous suspension for sanitary failure.
Ability to work on weekends and flexible shift hours.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable and punctual.
