Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 2038 Rocking Horse Pl, Nanoose Bay, BC V9P 9C2

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Monitor daily revenues and analyze sales reports to effectively control and manage labour costs

·         Assist the Manager in planning and organizing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient service

·         Support the Manager in setting and adjusting staff work schedules

·         Support budget preparation by tracking costs of food, beverages, and supplies under the Manager’s direction

·         Assist in modifying food preparation methods and adjusting menu prices to align with the restaurant’s budget

·         Supervise and assist in training staff to maintain service quality and support daily operations

·         Determine the types of services to be offered and support the implementation of operational procedures

·         Address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and escalate significant issues to the Restaurant Manager

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
