Position Info:

·         Position: Hotel General Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $42.40-44.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 2668 Saskatchewan Ave W, Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 4A7

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Align all department operations to ensure consistent standards and property performance

·         Implement operational procedures and safety protocols for daily hotel functions

·         Negotiate supplier contracts and supply agreements to control procurement costs

·         Manage property budgets, tracking revenues and expenses to meet financial goals

·         Secure group bookings and facility contracts through direct negotiation with clients

·         Resolve guest complaints and service issues to ensure high satisfaction ratings

·         Oversee facility maintenance schedules and coordinate property repairs or upgrades

·         Direct the recruitment, scheduling, and performance management of the staff

Job Requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
