Hiring a Delivery Driver Supervisor

 

Qualifications:

–          Completion of secondary school is required.

–          Several years (2~3 years) of experience as a delivery driver is required.

–          Previous experience at the produce wholesale company is an asset.

–          Proficiency in English is required.

 

Responsibilities:

– Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the delivery drivers who operate company

delivery trucks

– Establish methods to meet delivery schedules and co-ordinate work activities with purchasing department and warehouse department

– Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve delivery performance

– Train new delivery drivers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

– Dispatch delivery drivers and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems

– Occasionally perform delivery driver’s duties in case of absent of delivery drivers or shortage of delivery drivers during peak season

– Prepare delivery reports to management

 

Working Condition:

– Full-time, Permanent Position

– 30 working hours per week, Wage: $36.60 per hour, 10days paid vacation or 4% of vacation fee
