Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook (Japanese Kitchen Cook)

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.62~$19.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  3

·         Work Location: 388 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V5Y 1R2

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook complete foods utilizing standardized recipes

·         Always maintain the food prep area and kitchen cleaned and sanitized

·         Oversee kitchen operation

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas

·         Ensure that staffs are thoroughly trained on each menu item

·         May assist in recruitment and hiring of new staffs

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Language: English
