Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $18.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 5402 Highway Street, Valleyview, AB T0H 3N0

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and coordinate food service staff in daily food preparation, portioning, and service activities

·         Establish work methods and schedules to ensure efficient daily operations

·         Train staff on job duties, food safety, sanitation procedures, and workplace standards

·         Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and customer service standards

·         Estimate and order food ingredients, kitchen supplies, and other required inventory

·         Maintain records of stock, sales, wastage, repairs, and operational issues

·         Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner

·         Prepare basic operational reports and communicate staffing or supply needs to management

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 1-2 years of experience in food preparation or service is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
