Position Info:

·         Position: Administrative Officer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.00-$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 885 Cranberry Lake Road, Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to support hotel operations and management

·         Review, evaluate, and implement new procedures to improve efficiency in guest service support and administrative tasks

·         Delegate work to office support staff and assist with coordinating front office and back-office activities

·         Fulfill administrative activities such as monitoring hotel mailboxes, responding to general guest and business inquiries, and maintaining correspondence

·         Establish work priorities for administrative staff and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met

·         Provide initial onsite training and orientation for new administrative and front office employees

·         Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and internal correspondence for hotel management

·         Maintain filing systems, office supplies, and records related to hotel operations, staff, and vendor communications

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of office administration experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
