Position Info:

·         Position: Front Desk Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 885 Cranberry Lake Road, Valemount, BC V0E 2Z0

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Develop and implement operational policies to ensure consistent service standards

·         Prepare and manage budgets, actively monitoring departmental revenues and operating expenses

·         Direct staff operations and establish work schedules to ensure optimal coverage

·         Oversee maintenance activities, coordinating repairs and upkeep to ensure property quality and safety

·         Negotiate facility usage with clients for meetings and group functions

·         Manage vendor relationships and procurement to secure cost-effective procurement of supplies

·         Recruit and hire personnel to build and maintain a high-performing front office

·         Resolve guest complaints and provide front desk support during peak operational times

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in the accommodation industry is required
