Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.30/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook specialty meals and designated menu items

·         Adjust recipes and food preparation to accommodate customer food allergies or dietary restrictions

·         Supervise the daily activities of kitchen staff

·         Plan menus and develop recipes in alignment with establishment food quality standards

·         Instruct staff on cooking methods, garnishing, and equipment operation

·         Estimate quantities and budgetary costs of required food supplies and ingredients

·         Arrange for the purchase, maintenance, and repair of kitchen equipment

·         Enforce sanitation, health, and safety regulations within the food preparation area

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience including supervisory experience is required
