Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $28.00~$35.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 200 Burrard Street Unit R020, Vancouver, BC V6C 3L6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities of the restaurant

·         Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods

·         Estimate food requirements, food costs, and labor costs

·         Plan menus and ensure foods meet quality standards

·         Supervise activities of cooks and other kitchen staff

·         Arrange for the purchase and repair of cooking equipment

·         Involve in hiring and training of new kitchen staff

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

·         Language: English
