Position Info:

· Position: Catering Service Manager

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $38.50/hour

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 1

· Work Location: 2754 Barnet Hwy, Coquitlam, BC V3B 1B9

Benefits:

· 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

· Prepare and manage catering budgets by estimating food, beverage, labour, equipment, and other service-related costs

· Review catering revenues and expenses, control operating costs, and identify measures to maintain the profitability of catering services

· Determine pricing for catering packages and services based on food costs, labour requirements, event size, equipment needs, and service specifications

· Consult with clients regarding catering requirements and negotiate service packages, pricing, event arrangements, and facility-use terms

· Plan, coordinate, and oversee catering events from preparation through completion to ensure service, staffing, equipment, and timing requirements are properly met

· Supervise catering staff during preparation and event service to ensure assigned duties are completed efficiently and established service standards are maintained

· Train catering employees on event procedures, service standards, food handling requirements, workplace practices, and client-specific service expectations

· Assist in developing and implementing marketing initiatives to promote catering services and attract corporate, private, and special-event clients

Job requirements:

· Language: English

· Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in catering, food service, hospitality management, or a related supervisory/management role is required

· Education: Completion of secondary school is required
