Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 5240 Rumble Street, Burnaby, BC V5J 2B6

 

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook Korean-style dishes, complete meals, and individual menu items according to restaurant standards

·         Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions, following safe food handling procedures

·         Determine food portion sizes and assist in estimating food costs to reduce waste and maintain consistency

·         Inspect kitchen and food preparation areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper sanitation standards

·         Maintain inventory records of food, ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment

·         Clean kitchen, cooking stations, and work areas to maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
