Position Info:

· Position: Physiotherapist

· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

· Wage: $50.00/hr

· Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

· Number of Positions: 1

· Location: 201-1020 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P1

Job Duties:

· Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, flexibility, posture, and functional limitations through examinations and evaluative tests

· Review patients’ medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals to determine appropriate physiotherapy needs

· Assess patients’ physical abilities and identify limitations affecting daily function, movement, and recovery

· Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and each patient’s recovery objectives

· Select and apply appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, equipment, and treatment modalities

· Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening routines, and home exercise programs

· Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes, assessment results, and progress reports

· Communicate with physicians, massage therapists, chiropractors, and other health care professionals when coordinated care is required

· Provide guidance to clinic support staff regarding patient flow, treatment room preparation, and proper use of equipment when necessary

Job Requirements:

· Language: English

· Experience: Minimum 6 months of supervised practical training is required

· Education: A master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in physiotherapy is required

· Certification: A registration with College of Physical Therapist of BC is required
