Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Food Service Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.50-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 3189 Quadra St, Victoria, BC V8X 1E9

Benefits:

·         4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Oversee team activities during the preparation of menu items

·         Uphold the restaurant’s quality standards by reviewing meals for consistency and presentation

·         Manage guest feedback and resolve issues regarding the dining experience

·         Calculate the amount of ingredients needed based on estimated daily demand

·         Order food stocks and kitchen supplies to maintain daily inventory

·         Instruct staff on tasks, hygiene protocols, and safety rules

·         Develop budget forecasts and cost projections for food and labor expenses

·         Hire and onboard new staff to ensure operational coverage

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial food service experience is required
