Job Requirements

Languages: English.

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Retail business

Ability to supervise: 11-15 people, Cashiers, Retail salespersons and sales clerks, Grocery clerks and shelf stockers

Area of specialization: Retail store

Specific Skills: Assign sales workers to duties, Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, Order merchandise, Authorize return of merchandise, Establish work schedules, Sell merchandise, Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Organize and maintain inventory, Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
