Position Info:

·         Position: Retail Butcher

·         Terms of employment: Full-Time, Permanent

·         Wage: $22.00-$24.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 102 Central Avenue E, Linden, AB T0M 1J0

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Clean and prep all meat carcasses for final processing or specialized cutting

·         Prepare custom cuts of meat based on specific customer requests and orders

·         Carve standard retail cuts by trimming and portioning meat for display

·         Debone various proteins to maximize yield and prepare boneless cuts

·         Process ground meats using professional equipment to maintain daily stock levels

·         Package finished products securely for retail sale or customer pickup

·         Evaluate product weights to set accurate pricing and handle over-the-counter sales

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
