Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $17.50~$18.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 5201 Highway Avenue, Blackfalds, AB T0M 0J0

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and cook individual orders and complete meals

·         Monitor food portions per dish and track ingredient costs to minimize waste

·         Adjust standard recipes for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions

·         Supervise and support kitchen staff during daily food preparation

·         Train cooks in proper food handling and preparation

·         Maintain accurate inventory records of supplies and kitchen equipment

·         Request food stocks and kitchen supplies to keep inventory replenished

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required
