Position Info:

·         Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-44 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 4340 97 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 5R9

Job Duties:

·         Prepare and pour dental impressions to create accurate plaster models and moulds for prosthetic fabrication

·         Apply and shape wax over denture setups to refine structure and ensure proper alignment prior to final processing

·         Assemble, adjust, and complete metal frameworks used in partial and full denture construction

·         Polish, buff, and finish dentures to achieve proper fit, function, and aesthetic quality

·         Process and pack acrylic or plastic materials into moulds to fabricate full and partial dentures

·         Fabricate orthodontic bands and components using various dental metals and alloys

·         Construct wax bite blocks and custom impression trays to support dental prosthetic procedures

·         Monitor inventory levels and order necessary dental laboratory materials and office supplies to maintain efficient operations

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
