Overview

Position available:  Head Cashier

 

Qualification:

–          Completion of secondary school is required.

–          Previous retail sales experience (such as cashier, retail sales clerk etc.) is required.

–          Proficient in English is required.

 

Main duties:

–          Supervise and co-ordinate cashiers and shelf-stockers

–          Assign workers to duties and prepare work schedules

–          Authorize payments and returns of merchandise

–          Sell merchandise to customers

–          Resolve customer complaints and supply/organization issues

–          Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise as required

–          Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-end area, such as, the cash register area, store supplies, and displays

–          Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

–          Train or arrange for the training of new staff

 

Wage & Benefits:

$ 22.60 per hour and 5.77% vacation fee of gross salary

 

Working hours:

5 hours per day and 30 hours per week (permanent & full-time position)
