Position Info:

·         Position: Hotel Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $39.22/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 2307 Shaka Lake Road, Penticton, BC V2A 6E8

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Establish, execute, and continually review operational policies and standard procedures to ensure smooth hotel performance

·         Manage hotel budgets, approve operational expenditures, and monitor daily revenue to maximize profitability

·         Oversee the recruitment process, coordinate staff training programs, and organize employee work schedules across departments

·         Address and efficiently resolve guest complaints and service issues to maintain high customer satisfaction

·         Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for hotel amenities and maintenance services

·         Monitor operations to ensure strict compliance with local health, safety, and workplace regulations

·         Design and implement marketing initiatives and seasonal promotional campaigns to increase guest bookings

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the accommodation industry are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
