Position Info:

·         Position: Chef

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.50-$32.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 4900 McGillivray Blvd, Oak Bluff, MB R4G 0B7

Job Duties:

·         Cook meals and specialized dishes for guests with food allergies

·         Manage kitchen staff by handling hiring, scheduling, and daily supervision

·         Order necessary food stock, ingredients, and daily kitchen supplies

·         Organize kitchen equipment purchases, routine maintenance, and repairs

·         Track kitchen inventory, sales data, and ongoing food costs

·         Review operating expenses to accurately estimate future supply needs

·         Ensure all food consistently meets quality and presentation standards

·         Train the team on new cooking methods, equipment, and safe food handling

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of related experience including supervisory experience is required
