Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $29.00~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~44 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 4
• Work Location: 1-299 Champlain Street, Dieppe, NB E1A 1P2

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook entire meals and create decorative food displays
• Ensure food meets quality standards
• Estimate food requirements and costs of food and labour
• Supervise activities of cooks and kitchen workers
• Recruit and hire kitchen staff
• Train cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
• Maintain records of inventory and requisition food and kitchen supplies
• May plan menu and create new recipes

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
