Main duties
• Assist mechanic in the mechanical, electrical and body repair of automobiles.
• Assist in adjusting, maintaining and installing parts and components of automotive system.
• Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
• Provide assistance with oil and filter changes for engines
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help mechanic and other workers as directed
• Perform other labouring and elemental tasks as assigned.
Employment requirements
• Secondary school education is required.
• Previous work experience in a similar role will be given priority
• Training course in the relevant field will be an asset
