BUILDING MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
About the Position

A.T. Your Service Interior Renovation Corp. is looking for a dedicated and dependable Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team in Kanata, Ontario. The successful candidate will play an important role in overseeing building maintenance and renovation activities, supervising workers, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established standards.

This position is ideal for an organized and hands-on individual who has experience supervising workers and coordinating maintenance or renovation projects. The successful candidate must be able to provide clear direction to employees, coordinate daily activities, manage materials and supplies, and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.

Job Requirements

Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience

Experience:

1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience
Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Supervising workers and overseeing building maintenance and renovation projects
Coordinating and scheduling daily work activities and project assignments
Leading and instructing workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Overseeing apprenticeship training and supporting employee development
Recruiting and hiring workers and carrying out related staffing activities
Training employees or arranging appropriate training programs
Estimating project costs and determining required materials
Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies
Ensuring that all applicable workplace health and safety regulations are followed
Monitoring project progress and ensuring work is completed according to established schedules and standards
Providing direction and support to workers as required
