Position Info:

·         Position: Dental Laboratory Technician Assistant

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $38.50-$39.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: #509-4538 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 4T9

Benefits:

·         4 % vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Cast gold and metal alloys to produce bridges and denture bases

·         Fabricate temporary crowns and restorations for patient use

·         Mould plaster models and study casts for diagnostic reference

·         Rebuild and finish metal denture frameworks to specification

·         Shape wax bite-blocks and impression trays ahead of casting

·         Form orthodontic bands using metal and alloy materials

·         Record preliminary impressions to support diagnostic casts

·         Track inventory and order laboratory and dental supplies as needed

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 3-5 years of dental laboratory experience is required
