Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Assistant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $36.70/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 6-680 Trans Canada Highway, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5R1

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Assist in reviewing and assessing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and service quality

·         Support the planning and coordination of daily activities to maintain smooth restaurant operations

·         Prepare and adjust staff work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during operating hours

·         Provide training and guidance to staff to support skill development and consistent service standards

·         Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to support productivity and team effectiveness

·         Ensure compliance with health and safety standards by assisting in implementing and monitoring procedures

·         Respond to customer concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to maintain customer satisfaction

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in food services industry is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
