Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $34.00~$37.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 6-680 Trans Canada Highway, Nanaimo, BC V9S 5R1

 

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Determine the services to be offered and implement operational procedures

·         Plan, coordinate, manage, and evaluate the activities and operations of the restaurant

·         Recruit, supervise staff members, and oversee staff training

·         Manage and set staff work schedules

·         Control inventory and organize when it needs

·         Modify menu prices according to the restaurant’s budget

·         Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms

·         Address customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for supplies

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
