Overview
BAOTU LIQUOR AND SPIRITS LTD., a retail liquor store in Alberta, is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Cashier. Our store provides customer service, sales transactions, product stocking, and general store support in a regulated retail liquor environment. We are now looking for one Cashier who is responsible, detail-oriented, and able to follow all applicable liquor retail policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
-Operate cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions
-Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
-Verify customers’age and identification when selling liquor products
-Refuse sales to minors, intoxicated persons, or customers who do not meet legal requirements
-Bag or package purchased products for customers
-Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and ensure the store is organized
-Assist with inventory counts and report low stock levels
-Maintain cleanliness of the store, including the checkout area, shelves, floors, and display areas
-Handle bottles, cases, and store merchandise safely
-Follow company safety procedures, store policies, and applicable liquor retail requirements
Requirements:
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-Some high school education required
-ProServe Liquor Staff Training certification is required, or the candidate must be willing and eligible to obtain it as required
• Previous cashier, liquor store, or retail experience is an asset, but training will be provided
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 pounds
• Must be able to follow age-verification, responsible liquor sales, and store safety procedures
